Due to the high altitude of the ski region and the glacier, snow conditions are guaranteed from October to April. The 2 glacier "Rettenbach & Tiefenbach" are connected via the "Golden Gate" to the rest of the Sölden ski region.
The longest slope is 15km long and has a difference in altitude to 2.000m.
